2/28 Puppies weigh in (order) : Flash and Bunnie : 8.75 Eric, Jet & Hef:  8.5 Paris: 6.5 and Wonder: 7 lbs 
3/1 When I am able to spend more than a few minutes with the group, I always feel like I am intruding on something very personal.
3/2  A very strange thing happened after we went to bed last night! I heard Merry barking! I rushed out to see what was going on.....nothing. Or at least it seemed that way. So I waited because I knew Merry would not bark for no reason. And then it becomes clear. My dryer vent dumps into the aviary, down low, in the corner. Merry has decided this is not the place for puppies! She growls at them when they go near the corner and lies down, wedging her body between the wall and the cat climber, blocking off one side. Of course this only makes the puppies more curious! She is VERY insistent. I can tell she is not going to sleep at this rate. So I block the corner off with another expen. She relaxes a little, but is not totally convinced. She can still SEE the dryer vent, and continues to keep the puppies away. I finally went to bed, hope she feels better about it by tomorrow.
3/3 Merry is still checking the corner for wayward puppies! But it's more of a 'drive by' now. I realize that was the only time I had the dryer on HOT! hmmmmm. That Merry, she's a smart cookie. A baby could get very dehydrated back there.
3/4  Puppies continue to crave human attention, kisses, and LAPS.

Oh Bunnie. She thought about going into the garage...I gave a verbal correction...and guess what? she turned around, lowered her body and SMILED at me!!!
