1/17/09 Puppies had their well check at the vet today- all good to go! Merry is only slightly less resistant to leave them. Taking care of her own potty requirements are not high on her list! Babies had their very first visitor today. :)
1/18/09 Puppies weigh in at 13,13,12,10,13,13 & 9 ounces Puppies had their tails 'done' and everyone is resting comfortably. 
1/19/09 Merry is nesting again! She has rearranged my bed several times, and the dog bed piled up in the corner too. It took me a moment but I think she is tired of spending all that time on the floor! :) Time for some soft pillows. So she works and works, gets everything just right, lies down with just her head peaking out......hears a puppy murmur and she's back in the box. Puppies weigh in at 15,15,14,12,15,14 & 10oz   
1/20/09 First day back at work for me, came home at lunch and let Merry out. Everyone is doing great!
1/21/09 Merry has created 'Fort RaineDance'. Don't you move those babies! silly girl! 17.5,18,15,14,17,16,12oz 

And the pups are more fun each day. It is quite the pile up at feeding time....which is every 4 minutes. Legs flying, muzzles digging in the pile....LOTS of complaining. And then..........quiet as everyone has exhausted themselves!
1/22/09 The puppies are huge! Weighing them is just a formality. Most of them are a pound and a quarter!
