1/11/09 Merry has her bath
1/12/09  Merry's temp AM: 99.9  PM 100.2 
1/13/09 Merry's x-ray shows 7 healthy puppies!! 99.8  99.7 & 99.7
1/14/09 Merry is not too keen on eating, but she'll do it if I get her started by hand. 100.0  100.1  99.7  99.9 And she says "I don't know WHY you went to all that trouble. Unless YOU are going to use that box!" I can tell Merry is NOT wanting to step foot in the whelping box! Why should she? with the king size bed right there!
1/15/09 Merry is willing to go in the box....if I sit in it too. She's starting to nest a bit, and won't even eat 1/2 her days ration of food. 99.9  99.5  99.3 hmmmmmm temp is starting to decline? Could be tonight or tomorrow! 9:30 98.8
1/16/09 Still no puppies! Her temp AM is 98.2 so we are expecting them TODAY.
5:00PM      SEVEN healthy beautiful puppies! 4 boys and 3 girls!
Merry has had her bath, and is resting comfortably with her brood. Very happy Momma!
