4/13/07   Puppies have both gained an ounce since their birthday :) Today they are equally vocal. "We don't like to potty!" "Where is my mother...oh yeah. she's right here. Shew!" Emmit and Bryce have their tails and dewclaws removed without incident. Emma waited in the car with an eagle eye on the door until they were safely returned to her!
4/14/07   Emma is now willing to leave the 'box', but only for a matter of seconds. The puppies have gained another ounce by this morning. Bryce (on the right) is now 14.5oz and Emmit is 13oz.
4/15/07  Bryce and Emmit have their 'well check' at the vet this morning. Both passed with flying colors, amidst lots of cooing and ahhhing from the vet staff. The boys weighed in this morning at 17oz and 16oz.
4/16/07  Bryce and Emmit got the hiccups this morning, at the same time! Boys got their nails trimmed again. They are growing so fast!
4/17/07  Today, the boys weigh in at 1.25lbs each. I had to take Emma away for a few hours, so they don't POP!  
4/18/07  Bryce is trying to walk! He's up on all fours....just for 1/2 a second. And Emmit is right behind him. The boys close out the week at 1.5 lbs each. After today, go to the "Week 2" list. And Merry's puppy journal starts today.
