6/16 I have not noticed such young puppies really liking human contact the way these guys do. Yes, they always love a warm spot when all their other needs are met, but these puppies, especially Posh even in the very first week, actually quiet when I stroke their forehead with my thumb. 
I see a sparkle in the eyes of Posh and Trinket! Let there be light!
6/17 Posh's eyes are open! And I predict they will be brown eyes....also Trump weighs just a hair under ONE POUND! You will see from the pictures, he really looks like a puppy now. I think he is about 5-7 days behind the others. Trump will definitely stay at RaineDance for an extra week before going to his new home. In fact, because of him, possibly all the pups will stay an extra number of days.
6/18 Posh and Trump are showing their silly side already. They play, rolling over on their backs, batting my fingers and chewing on everything. Trump is the last to open his eyes today!
6/19 Trump is almost a pound and a half! Still 5 days behind. 
6/20 The puppies show great enthusiasm when anything new is put in the box. They are chomping on each other and their own feet.
6/21 With careful managing and lots of visitor participation, Pearl has made a breakthrough! She was very nervous about people in general being at the house, and would not allow anyone to approach her little babies. However, it has just sunk in that it really IS all about her! And she loves it! She was very relaxed by the time the whole lesson was over and I am thankful for the direction everyone was willing to take on her behalf.    

We can now look forward to as much visiting as my schedule will allow. :)) It also means that the Collins family will be able to baby-sit for me the weekend on July 4th so that I can give the rest of the RD clan some much needed attention.
6/22 Today was water day! Posh needed a nap after tasting water....but Trinket searched for it for a second look...

"Posh"

Posh has been so accepting and patient with me! I am constantly fussing with her, pulling her off Mom, making her lie on her side, making her walk LONG distances over and over. She seems to even like the tasks. She NEVER complains about the jobs I give her, but the rest of the time she is very vocal and provides lots of commentary....usually fussing about something unknown.

"Rock"

Rock already reminds me a bit of Grandpa Park. Even with his eyes closed, he would sit up and 'look around' as though already surveying his world. Maybe he will have Park's elegance.

"Trump"

Oh my, he is getting so cute! I love his little bat ears and his silly nature. He has changed so much, sometimes I don't even recognize him!

"Trinket"

I can tell Trinket has her own mind about things. She has decided she likes me...but she had to think about it!
