9/21/10 I think the pictures will speak for themselves this week! The
puppies are active, trotting, steady on their feet, WAGGING their tails and
eating a ton of food. Merry loves it when I put a fresh blanket it out for
the brood (in the morning, nice and warm from the dryer!). She rolls around
slowly with them and they climb all over her and they are all just in LOVE
with each other. Then it changes abruptly and the puppies focus on each
other! There is constant bickering, and there is alot of climbing and
biting! Oh what puppies must go through. It sounds terrible! Growling and
spitting and lots of pay back. <Grin> but it all works out and they
all participate, so you can't really blame one in particular. They are also
loving their toys and I change them regularly. Their potty habits are GREAT!
They are all really good about going over to the bark. But, if you wake them
up, and don't go straight over there yourself, they won't leave a person to
go over there. Too much competition! They are want to be first in line for
loves.

"Tommy"
Tommy was the last to embrace
his new environment, and certainly got hurt feelings from brother/sister
bullies in earlier weeks. But he is holding his own nicely this week, and is
'dishing it out' with the rest of them! I am happy to see him so confident and
settled! Tommy is always happy to be picked up and snuggled.

"Jag"
Jag loves to sleep in a lap
and is very kissy. Very affectionate, but happy to play with his toys or
siblings too. Jag worries sometimes when I discipline another puppy. He
wants to make sure it's not about him!

"Diamond"
Diamond is SO excited to find
a person she wiggles and shakes in your arms! She is so excited she is kissy
and squirmmy and so worried that you are going to put her down. When you do,
and she isn't ready, she immediately turns around and tried to get back in
your hands! If you hold her long enough, she loves to fall asleep in your
arms. upside down. This little girl need alot of love!

"Pudge"
Pudge is a sweetie, and
she is happy to lie upside down and listen intently while you
scratch her tummy. But she also has a mind of her own! I
think she may be quite good at staying out of trouble with her
siblings...as she never seems to be the aggressor and she is never on
the bottom of the pile.

"Hudson"
Hudson is still one of
the most active puppies. You can already tell he wants to go fast! He is
a love, and that blue eye is SO blue! He is not quite the bully he was
last week, and is focusing more on his toys. shew!

"Porsche"
Porsche is always up
for fun. She is often the very last puppy to head for the kennel for a
nap. Girls just wanna have fun!! What a blast she is. She is still the
smallest, but she can take care of herself no doubt!

"Chloe"
Chloe still has one
main mission....and that is to find me. She too will turn around and try
and climb up your arm if you put her down before she is ready! Chloe
loves her toys and carries them everywhere.
