8/29/10 The puppies are growing so fast! They are already starting to
walk and be aware of their surroundings. We've had the first ear shakes (gotta
open up those little ears!) and some are starting to head for the dark areas
under the "pig rails". this tells me they are starting to see some
light through the eyelids, and are drawn to the dark areas to protect tender
new eyes or just because its more familiar. The little sirens, barks, trills
and smacking noises continue with ever more volume. :) And so far, they have
had about 13 visitors.
8/30/10 Well, this morning we didn't have any eyes, but this afternoon we
have two! Pudge is the first one to let in the light!
9/1/10 Pudge is still the only one with open eyes, but you can see a tiny
sparkle in Porsche and Tommy! They are all wandering around now, although
they are still very wobbly. Chloe, who is still Sumo wrestler, is the
fastest walker! They are starting to chew on their own legs, and each
others. They are also stopping to sniff the toys and are much more
interested in me as something more than just a warm body to snuggle.

9/2/10 Everyone is over 1 lb today! 5 puppies are 1lb 13oz give or take a
smidge. Jag moves into 1st at just under 1lb 14oz, and little Porsche bring
up the rear at 1lb 4oz. (Tommy and Diamond tied for 2nd, Pudge takes 3rd,
and Hudson and Chloe tie for 4th- but they are all just fractions of an
ounce from each other)
