Jolie and the babies had a great night together and Jolie has taken up all her motherly duties. She is totally content in the box. Unlike past litters, she is confined to the box for now, while her incision heals. The twins are FAT already! Boy weighs in just over a pound and girl weighs in at just under a pound. WOW!
It is very interesting...she is very gentle with the puppies...Emma and Merry did everything with a bit of gusto........but Jolie cleans them gently, and when she has to hold a puppy down, she places her foot carefully on the puppy and applies barely enough pressure to keep it still. Fascinating!

11/4/11 With a little help, Jolie has come to grips with the pinching she has to endure! Good Girl Jolie, I knew I could count on you!
11/7/11 The only thing better than starting the day with cookies for breakfast? Sitting in Jolie's immaculate box w/her and her twins. These are the quietest babies we have ever had!
