5/31/07 Bryce and Emmit are inseparable. They are so good with
the girls, preferring mostly to play with each other. TAG and TUG are the
favored games. And chasing anything you throw.
6/1/07 Emmit takes his first walk on the leash. Women were
swooning, it was quite the scene!
6/2/07 Bryce and Emmit enjoy some alone time in the
kitchen with family. Play play play!
6/3/07 All the pups get a nice long romp with Baron. Baron
truly loves them, and they adore him. The video is priceless!
6/4/07 Emma loves her babies SOooo much. Her role has
changed to playmate and guardian of all good chewy things! Given the choice
at bedtime.....she just stood there looking at me when I said
"upstairs!". And I realized she didn't WANT to go upstairs for
bed. She wanted to be with her boys. Who could deny her! I am hoping, after
they are gone, she will decide Merry's are hers too.
6/5/07 Both pups took another trip on their leash and
collar. and did very well. I will leave their tiny flat buckle collars on
now, so their new owners don't have to watch them scratch for days!
6/6/07 I ran all around the yard, with puppies in hot
pursuit! Like my little ducklings they are. All tuckered out, they crashed
on the cool cement, ready for bed. Except Bryce! Unhappy with the stamina of
his mates, he kicked them all out of the housie (4x5 enclosed storage piled
high with bedding) and proceeded to play all by himself! I stood at
the gate and watched as he tackled the bedding, rolling and barking over and
over. It looked like totally normal play...there was just no one else
participating! So cute. He didn't bother all the sleepers.
Tomorrow my beautiful boys will be 8 wks old! And just a
couple of days from going to their new homes. The next updates will be on
the adoption page. Check there for news and photos in the coming year. I am
already deeply sad to think of their departure. sigh. But they are going to
the best homes on the planet! Both boys are going to performance homes,
where they will sleep on the bed, be part of the family, and explore their
talents in all the various venues! I miss them already. :)
